What to Wear
Although summers can be very nice in Alaska, the weather can change very quickly. Also, the breeze on the Cook Inlet can be very cool. It is recommended that anglers dress warm and dry in layers. Since a wet person is usually a cold person, rain gear and rubber footwear is highly recommended. Successful fishing contributes to a wet deck complete with blood, scales, and slime.
What to Bring
Anglers should bring their own food, beverages, rainwear, boots, camera, and licenses (info below). There will be a cooler on board for storing perishables. Bait, tackle, and fishing equipment is all provided.
Note: SPIT SISTERS CAFE and B & B, located at the harbor, will provide you with fantastic fisherman lunches at a reasonable price. In the morning, prior to departure, you might find your captain there getting hot coffee, pastries, and visiting with live girls. Call 907-235-4921 to have lunches made (to go) for your trip.
Licensing
